Dr. Darren Plummer has no regrets about taking a year out for research. “I can say without question it was the best thing I did during medical school. Not only was the position a great experience, Dr. Della Valle will be a mentor for the rest of my career! I got great operative experience and worked closely with the residents and fellows, who were great resources when applying for residency. On top of all this, Chicago is amazing!”
Darren authored a number of publications regarding dual mobility bearings, and is seen here presenting some of his findings at the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons conference.
