2020-2021
I am very grateful for the opportunity to take part in a research fellowship at Rush with Dr. Della Valle and Dr. Nam. This research fellowship was a great experience in which I had the opportunity to work closely with attendings, fellows, residents, and other faculty at Rush, gaining valuable exposure to Orthopaedic Joint Reconstruction in the research setting and the operating room. During this research fellowship, I learned how to coordinate a clinical study from start to finish and developed my skills managing research projects at each stage in the process from IRB submission to final publication. I believe this year has given me the tools to succeed in conducting high quality research studies in residency and beyond. I highly recommend this research fellowship and am grateful for the mentorship provided by Dr. Della Valle and Dr. Nam.
